I have numerous sangria recipes, ready for any season, party or event! Here’s one of my Winters ones:
Winter Sangria
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 1Â cup Blackberry Brandy (Manischewitz)
- One orange, halved and then sliced
- One lime, sliced
- One pear, sliced
- 1 cup OJ
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 3 sticks of cinnamon
-1 magnum of dry red wine (or 2 bottles of wine)
Extras:
- Pitcher
- Ice
Let's make a drink!
In a large pitcher add in your agave nectar, triple sec, brandy, orange juice, pomegranate juice, and the fruit, pomegranate seeds and cinnamon sticks. Give it a few stirs and add in wine. I let my sangria sit over night, but at least let yours sit for 8 hours so the flavors can combine. Pour over ice or serve chilled. I usually make a few pitchers of this because it goes fast.
Oh, you hate the color, red…weird, but I have a white sangria just for you!!Â
White Winterland Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 cup halved cranberries
- 1 Granny smith apple, chopped
- 3 Rosemary, sprigs
- 2 cups white cranberry juice
- 2 cups Sparkling apple cider (Martinelli’s)
- Magnum of white wine. (I use Pinot Grigio)
Extras:
-Pitcher
-Ice
Let's make a drink!
Add fruit to pitcher, muddle the rosemary to where it aromatic and toss it in the pitcher. Pour in sparkling cider, cranberry juice and white wine. Let chill 8 hours over overnight. I don’t serve these in a pitcher. I pour the sangria in ice filled glasses, top with some fruit from the pitcher, a new sprig of rosemary and top off with some fresh cider so it still has the bubbles to it. I pour about 2 tablespoons on top to each glass.
