Add in 2 cups cran-apple vodka and 2 cups of vanilla rum.
I have numerous sangria recipes, ready for any season, party or event! Here’s one of my Winters ones:
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 1 cup Blackberry Brandy (Manischewitz)
- One orange, halved and then sliced
- One lime, sliced
- One pear, sliced
- 1 cup OJ
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 3 sticks of cinnamon
-1 magnum of dry red wine (or 2 bottles of wine)
Let's make a drink!
In a large pitcher add in your agave nectar, triple sec, brandy, orange juice, pomegranate juice, and the fruit, pomegranate seeds and cinnamon sticks. Give it a few stirs and add in wine. I let my sangria sit over night, but at least let yours sit for 8 hours so the flavors can combine. Pour over ice or serve chilled. I usually make a few pitchers of this because it goes fast.
Oh, you hate the color, red…weird, but I have a white sangria just for you!!
White Winterland Sangria
- 1 cup halved cranberries
- 1 Granny smith apple, chopped
- 3 Rosemary, sprigs
- 2 cups white cranberry juice
- 2 cups Sparkling apple cider (Martinelli’s)
- Magnum of white wine. (I use Pinot Grigio)
Let's make a drink!
Add fruit to pitcher, muddle the rosemary to where it aromatic and toss it in the pitcher. Pour in sparkling cider, cranberry juice and white wine. Let chill 8 hours over overnight. I don’t serve these in a pitcher. I pour the sangria in ice filled glasses, top with some fruit from the pitcher, a new sprig of rosemary and top off with some fresh cider so it still has the bubbles to it. I pour about 2 tablespoons on top to each glass.
Apple Cider Punch
- 8 cups apple cider
- 4 cups white grape juice
- 1 bottle sparkling apple cider (Martinelli’s)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 10 star anises*
- 3 large Golden Delicious apples, thinly sliced.
Let’s make a drink!
In a pitcher, add in apple cider, grape juice, sparkling cider, and orange juice, star anises and sliced apples. Let sit for 2 hours and pour over ice. Garnish can be an apple and star.
*If you don’t have or can’t find Star Anises, the ground will be fine. I have a hack for that. If you have tea bag or tea infuser/ball. Add in 2 teaspoons of ground anise. Set it into hot water for a minute so the flavors unlike and then toss it into your pitcher.
3 cups spiced rum
